Dan and Susan Parrish have
been proud partners with the residential homebuilding and remodeling industry
for 35 years in Texas. They
opened Parrish & Company in 1972 as a fireplace
distributor in San Antonio. The company prospered and eventually added
other products such as cabinets, countertops, appliances, garage doors, garage door openers,
lighting, and barbeque pits and grills. Parrish & Company has also expanded its'
location to two more areas, Austin and La Feria. Dan and Susan have grown
their business through hard work, determination, loyal employees, wonderful
customer service, as well as, a great grasp on marketing. They have been
members of The Greater San Antonio Builders Association for over 25 years where Dan
has held a position on the Board of Directors for 6 years, chaired "The
Affordable Housing Parade of Homes", and has been honored as a Lifetime Spike in
the National Homebuilder's Association. Susan Parrish has been an integral
part of Parrish & Company since the doors opened in 1972. She officially
is our Chief Financial Officer, however, she is the catalyst for all divisions
from customer service to fiscal operations. Dan is a graduate from Texas
A&M University and Susan earned her degree at the University of Texas.
They have three children, Chip and his wife Jennifer are both Dentists, Brette
is in Builder Sales in San Antonio for the company, and Kelly (who is married to
Beau Walker Vice President of Construction for Sierra Classic Homes) is the Parrish & Company
Marketing Representative for all three locations. In addition to their
kids, they are the proud grandparents of Parker Elliott Parrish, Peyton Elliott
Parrish (Chip and
Jen's children), and Ryland West Walker!
SAN ANTONIO DIVISION
Gayle
Fresco Reynolds has been with Parrish & Company for over 30 years. She is
a Vice President and Appliances/Lighting/Home
Products Manager. Besides experience, her extensive knowledge of lighting
and home products makes her one of the experts in the field. Gayle has won
numerous awards from our vendor's for her outstanding sales and service.
If you are looking for appliances, lighting, or home products you will not find
a better representative in South Texas than Gayle.
James Nance has been with Parrish & Company since 1991. He began in
showroom sales advancing
to Appliance Division Manager. James has won many company awards from
Manager of the Year to sales awards. He now brings his enthusiasm and knowledge to the Fireplace/Garage Door Division.
In 2005, James was promoted to Vice President. James can help you with
your custom home or your volume builder needs from woodburning to gas to
electric fireplaces. Did you know we even offer homeowner orientations?
He will also be able to assist you with your garage door and garage door opener
needs, specializing in installation and service by factory trained technicians.
Leslie Giesalhart has been with Parrish & Company since 1997. She
began in the cabinet division
placing truck orders and handling inventory control. Leslie then assisted
the cabinet division manager with order entry which led to her becoming the
installation coordinator. Leslie currently serves as Cabinet
Division
Assistant Manager. As you can see her background in cabinets is quite
extensive which helps her in confidently and satisfactorily serving all of our
customers.
Eugenia
Southwell joined us in June of 2007 and is currently our Accounting Manager.
She brings to the table more than thirty years of accounting experience
primarily in the construction field. Eugenia received her BA from the
University of Texas and further studied Business Accounting at UTSA. She
has served on various professional boards throughout the years. We are
delighted to have Eugenia's experience, organization, and positive attitude on
our team.
David
Walton joined us in April 2005 as our Cabinet Operations Manager. In 2002,
he earned his Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Sam Houston State
University. David then went on to earn his MBA specializing in Management.
After college he completed a few small construction projects, as well as, held a
sales position. David does a great job on a daily basis managing the very
busy and demanding cabinet department.

After graduating from St. Mary's University in 2001 and teaching for 4
years, Josh Coy joined Parrish & company in 2005 training with Brette Parrish in
outside sales. Josh quickly grasped product and industry knowledge, and
became quite proficient in our 20/20 cabinet computer program. This led
him to being promoted to Countertop Manager in 2006. Josh eagerly works
everyday to promote his division and support the employees within, which is why
it is one of our fastest growing departments.

After graduating from The University of Texas San Antonio, Brette
Parrish joined the Centex Homes team where he worked as a Construction Manager
for two years. He gained extensive knowledge of the residential
homebuilding industry which led him to a sales position at Parrish & Company in
December of 2002. His hard work and dedication to the company earned him
Newcomer of the Year in 2003. This was followed by numerous other awards
such as Salesperson of the Year in 2004 and 2005, as well as, a record setting
Seven Million Dollar Sales award in 2005. Brette's commitment to the
family business ensures homebuilder's the best service possible.

Kelly Parrish Walker joined Parrish & Company in August of 2002 after
graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in Marketing. She began
at the Round Rock location and did everything from door to door Marketing to
webpage and advertising development. Kelly has been very involved with the
Austin Homebuilder's Association serving as the Women's Council Membership Vice
President in 2005, as well as, on the Max Awards Committee and Parade of Homes
Volunteer Coordinator. In May of 2006, her family moved to San Antonio
where she continues to serve as the Marketing Representative for all three of
our locations.
LA FERIA DIVISION
Jim Morgan began his career with Parrish & Company in 1988. Twelve of those
years, Jim worked in the
San Antonio branch in various capacities including General Manager. Jim then
moved on to become Division Manager in Austin until December 2002. He currently
is managing our La Feria location in The Valley. Jim brings to Parrish & Company widespread knowledge and
experience in the residential building industry.
AUSTIN DIVISION
Ronda Lewis started with Parrish & Company in 1995 as a receptionist.
She quickly gained knowledge of our appliances and moved into a sales position.
She then expanded her sales into all divisions. Her positive attitude and
great sense of professionalism led her to being promoted to our Austin Showroom
Manager in October 2001. Ronda will always greet you with a smile and have
information on our products available for whatever your home needs may be.

Chris Myers began with Parrish & Company in October 1999 as a Management
Intern while attending Southwest Texas State University. He joined us full
time in February 2000, and by 2001 was promoted to Austin Operations Manager.
Chris was awarded Supervisor of the Year in 2002. After serving in that
position for a couple of years, he branched out into a sales position from 2003
to 2005 to further diversify his skills. Chris has also acted as the
Quality Assurance Supervisor due to his great attention to detail and
perfection. He has returned to serving as Operations Manger and as you can
see is well qualified!
Kent Wallis has been with Parrish & Company
since August of 1999 . He began his
career as our first intern while he was finishing up his MBA at The University
of Texas San Antonio. Kent went into Builder Sales
in San Antonio where he successfully acquired several large accounts. Kent's
achievements led him to being promoted to Austin Division Manager in 2003. He is
very knowledgeable of all our products and is always ready and willing to help
our customers and do what it takes to meet or exceed your expectations.
